Buying and Building Your Dream Home

Financing
Get Financing approval first. You will need to take with you: Last 2 years tax returns, Last 2 months Bank Statements, and a check for credit report (approximately, $25.00). Remember, each time you get a credit report it takes points off your credit. Get Pre-Approved from as many lenders as you want, they do not run credit report. Get Approval from only One Lender that is when they run credit report.
Choosing Subdivision
We have many to choose from with more coming up soon.
Choosing Lot
Within each Subdivision there are many lots to choose from. Visit our office or call for a copy of the subdivision plats.
Choosing Floor Plan
What is your Dream Home? Two Story? Cape Cod? Ranch? We have many to choose from or we can specifically design one for you. Visit our Open House every Sunday from 2 - 4 P.M. Except Holiday weekends, or call for a private showing.
Writing a Contract
The next step is to write a contract. We will meet when all the above decisions are made and put it in writing. A deposit must be made at this point. Typically it takes 6 months from start to finish when Building.
Decorating
We will schedule a meeting with our interior designer. She will help you pick out paint colors, lighting, cabinets, etc. Click here for decorating tips
Closing the Deal
Your Loan Officer will schedule the closing with an attorney. All papers will be signed and final payment made.
